cooking with cherry tomatoes
Storage: Most chefs recommend never storing tomatoes in the fridge, for optimal flavor. However, it matters less for cherry tomatoes and they benefit massively in shelf life from being in the fridge. Store them in the fridge to easily keep them for weeks, especially if they'll be cooked anyway.
This is my go-to type of tomato for cooking. You can use just the right amount depending on the recipe. They’re easy to slice in half, or roast or saute them whole to create a quick week night sauce.
