- white rice
- water
- coconut milk
- sugar
- vanilla extract
- 1 orange, juiced and zested
- cinnamon
instructions
- 1 Rinse the rice and add it to a pot with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until water is absorbed.
- 2 Add coconut milk, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir well.
- 3 Simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens and rice is tender (about 20-25 minutes).
- 4 Remove from heat and let sit for a few minutes.
- 5 Serve warm or chilled, garnished with extra cinnamon.
