chili with habanero and sweet potato

  1. 1 Heat large stock pot over medium heat. Add olive oil, and saute green bell pepper and jalapeno for 3-5 minutes.
  2. 2 Add cumin, chili powder, and tomato paste to pot to toast briefly.
  3. 3 Add vegetable stock and crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer.
  4. 4 Add sweet potato, habanero, and black beans and simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. 5 Taste and adjust seasoning.
